Really great news! Russia and Belarus have concluded an agreement on the mutual recognition of visas issued for third-country nationals. The document was signed in Minsk following the talks of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei.
Now holders of an existing Russian or Belarusian visa will be able to move freely within the Union of Russia and Belorussia. At the same time, Moscow and Minsk reserve the right to refuse entry to certain foreigners or to shorten their stay on their territory.
