Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree expanding the list of checkpoints for entering Russia with an electronic visa. The document was published on Friday on the official Internet portal of legal information.
According to the document, automobile checkpoints are supplemented by Bagrationovsky, the villages of Pogranichny and Chernyshevskoye of the Kaliningrad region, the village of Vyartsilya in Karelia, the customs points of Kunichina Gora and Shumilkino in the Pskov region.
In addition, airports Khrabrovo in Kaliningrad and Novy in Khabarovsk were added to the air checkpoints. It will be possible to enter the territory of the Russian Federation on an electronic visa through sea checkpoints in Kaliningrad and Svetly, as well as in Sochi (through the International Center for Sea Passenger and Cruise Transportation). The list of mixed checkpoints is supplemented by Blagoveshchensk (in summer — river, in winter — automobile).
Currently, the issuance of uniform e-visas has been suspended due to the pandemic.
